Lubricants are typically applied in friction reduction, cooling and sealing, corrosion and rust prevention, cleaning and dispersing, buffering and shock absorption, power transmitting, etc;
I. Friction reduction : the energy is saved by reducing friction, while the mechanical life is elongated for better economic benefit by reducing wear and tear.
II. Cooling: the friction-generated heat shall always be carried away out of the engine;
III. Sealing: protection against leak, dust and runaway shall be provided;
IV. Protection against corrosion and rusting: the friction surface shall be protected against oil deterioration or external erosion;
V. Cleaning and dispersing: the debris arising from friction shall be cleared and cleaned.
VI. Buffering and shock absorption: load shall be dispersed, buffered and shock absorption shall be provided.
VII. Transmitting power: for hydraulic system and remote control of the motor and friction variable speed.
